the process
PHASE I - CONSULTING
The initial step is a site consultation meeting, usually two hours, wherein all aspects of the property are assessed. Suggestions are put forward based on the needs and wishes of the landowners and the site qualities and limitations.
For do-it-yourself gardeners in need of minor refurbishing, this meeting alone may be sufficient. They may freely take notes, then implement all verbal suggestions themselves.
PHASE II - DESIGNING
When a new garden or major renovation is needed, Marsh-Mode will provide a design concept on a scaled plan drawing, together with a complete plant material list and contractor's specifications, based on the outcome of discussions during consultation meeting. At this point the landowners are free to implement the project themselves or proceed to the next phase.
PHASE III - CREATING
A costing for the project will be obtained from a reputable contractor associated with Marsh-Mode Landscape Design. Marsh-Mode will act as client/contractor/designer liaison, and will provide site supervision and project co-ordination during duration of construction. All contractors associated with Marsh-Mode Landscape Design guarantee their work for two years.
Consultation meeting, up to two hours $150, plus GST.
Design concept on scaled plan drawing with complete plant material list and contractor's specifications, for front or back garden. (Includes presentation meeting and meeting with contractor for purposes of costing) $950 - $2000, plus GST.
